Lloyd is a third generation real estate executive and lifelong New Jersey resident; he began his real estate career in 1974. He has a BS in Real Estate Economics and Finance from Bowling Green University.

Lloyd is currently Treasurer of the Palisade Interstate Park Commission, having been appointed by Governor Christie. He has served on the transition committee for Governor Christie and is the former Chairman and board member of the Foundation for Free Enterprise (FFFE.org) amongst professional associations.
